Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are excited to share a meaningful milestone in our ongoing journey to empower slum children through education. With your support and encouragement, we have recently built and set up a new computer lab at the school we support in Eastern Nepal, aimed at providing digital education to children from the most marginalized backgrounds.
In the pictures below, you can see the transformation – the old school building and the newly extended structure that now houses the computer lab. This lab currently hosts 10 computers, and we are hopeful to expand it to at least 20 with further support.
Over the past six years, we have been consistently supporting this school with administration, meals,
infrastructure, and educational materials. When we first began, the school was struggling with limited resources and no government backing.
Today, thanks to your help, the school happily serves over 200 children and has successfully upgraded to class eight, now with three permanent teachers appointed by the government. This marks a significant step toward ensuring access to quality education for slum children at least up to grade eight for now.
We are especially grateful to our financial benefactors, for their continued support, and our operational partners for assisting us in the ground.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to further upgrading the school to high school level and expanding the digital lab.
Thank you once again for standing with us in this journey of transformation.
