At Peace Himalaya, we understand that peace grows quietly in classrooms, within families, among migrant workers, and in community spaces where dignity is gradually restored. We are a small grassroots initiative rooted in Nepal. Our work consists of careful, community-based efforts that respond to real needs and priorities identified at the local level. At present, our initiatives are modest in scale. We focus on thoughtful, well-implemented activities that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. At the same time, we remain open to expanding our work responsibly through strong partnerships and shared learning. We believe that sustainable growth should follow trust, capacity, and collaboration not ambition alone.

Education for the Most Vulnerable

Education is the foundation of lasting peace.We support children and youth from the most disadvantaged backgrounds by facilitating access to schooling, supporting parents through social awareness and micro-initiatives, creating environments where children can learn with dignity. We believe education is not charity it is justice.

Women’s Empowerment

When women rise, communities stabilise. We support women through collective savings and micro-initiatives, leadership development, social awareness and confidence building. Empowered women build peaceful families and resilient societies.

Intercultural Peacebuilding

We promote dialogue across cultures, religions, and communities building bridges where division once stood. From community conversations to collaborative initiatives, we foster mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Peace begins when people truly listen to one another.

Migrant Workers & Safe Migration

Thousands leave home seeking opportunity. Many face vulnerability. We work to raise awareness on safe migration, support returnee migrant workers, advocate for dignity and rights, strengthen community-based protection systems.

Anti-Trafficking & Protection

Trafficking destroys lives silently.Through awareness, advocacy, and local engagement, we work to prevent trafficking at the community level, support vulnerable children, women and youth, strengthen local accountability. Protection begins with informed and empowered communities.

In Country Representation and Partnership Management

Peace Himalaya manages stakeholder relationships and represents clients in Nepal, providing technical support and enhancing partner capacities. We identify and negotiate with partners, ensure regulatory compliance, and build community connections. Our services foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and integrate local needs into project strategies.

Project Development and Implementation

Peace Himalaya translates project plans into actionable steps, assisting in program planning and design using stakeholder input. We support effective project implementation, manage partnerships, track progress, provide fundraising assistance, and ensure successful outcomes through careful planning, proactive management, and continuous monitoring and evaluation.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Services

This service collects and analyzes data on project progress and impact. For Project Partner Nepal, it includes regular reports on status, milestones, challenges, and next steps. These reports ensure stakeholders are informed, support decision-making, and demonstrate accountability, enhancing transparency, trust, and collaboration.

Communications and Fundraising

This service helps secure financial support from international donors. Project Partner Nepal identifies funding opportunities, prepares proposals, and engages with donors. We highlight past successes and achievements to bolster fundraising efforts, providing guidance, support, and networking to alleviate financial challenges and help clients achieve their goals.
